Duration: 17 days

We recommend our Everest Base Camp via Cho-La Pass trek to anyone willing to try something different than the hype others are usually after. No matter if you have already tried the regular Everest Base Camp trek or not, we assure you that the alternative trail we follow during this trip is equally enjoyable for it leads to a picturesque valley surrounded by eminent cliffs and offers dreamlike views of four of the world’s tallest peaks, while we also get a tingling taste of the rich culture of the native highland dwellers, the world-famous Sherpas.

This outstanding trek to Everest Base Camp via Cho La Pass follows a well-established trail leading to deep valleys in the Khumbu region of Nepal, and also traverses Kalapatthar, undoubtedly the best viewpoint on earth standing at a staggering altitude of 5,545m, from where you can almost touch Mt. Moreover, this trek involves exploration of lovely Sherpa settlements and ancient monasteries while you also get to experience the incredibly warm hospitality offered by the local Sherpa people.
