Bhotekoshi River is one of the most frequented rivers for white water rafting adventure in Nepal. If you too want to test the adventurer in you, we invite you for an absolutely thrilling and adrenaline pumping Bhotekoshi River Rafting trip, which attracts a lot of tourists every year. The main reason for such popularity of this trip is the ease of access to the river itself, which is reachable by a short drive of less than 4 hours from the capital city, Kathmandu.
The Bhotekoshi River Rafting trip offered by Orbit Alpine Adventures starts from Lamosangu, the most common gateway to Tibet and Jiri by road. You don’t even have to wait to reach Lamosangu, for the drive itself can excite you with constantly changing landscapes and views of magnificent Himalayan peaks such as Dorje Lakpa, Shisa Pangma, Gaurishankar, Langtang, etc. as well as the lush green countryside within and outside Kathmandu Valley.
After a brief recess and orientation at Lamosangu, you will start a warm-up session of rafting in Bhotekoshi River, following it downstream for nearly 24 kms from the starting point. While Class IV and Class V rapids you encounter during the rafting trip are likely to heighten your excitement, superb mountain scenery will make it a blissful experience. Our expert rafting crew will take every minute factor into consideration to ensure that you overcome all the technical challenges safely.
